37th Annual Alumni and Friends Golf Outing Set for July 19

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Superior and Yellowjacket Athletics have announced the 2024 Yellowjacket Athletics Alumni and Friends Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, July 19. The event will once again take place at Nemadji Golf Course in Superior. This year's event will be held in conjunction with the 2024 UW-Superior Athletic Hall of Fame induction, which will be held Saturday, July 20.
 
The 37th-annual event will be capped at 34 teams. With a noon shotgun start, the cost to enter the scramble is $125 per golfer and $500 per team. The registration fee includes green fees, two carts per team, proximity prizes, lunch and dinner. A skins game is also available at an additional cost.
 
This year, pre-registration is required. Teams will have to be registered and paid in full prior to the event. Teams can register online on the official event page. Teams wishing to enter the skins game can register for that at the golf course the day of the event.
 
Flag sponsorships (limited to 24) are available on a first come, first served basis for $150, and you will receive the flag after the event. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. Other sponsorship opportunities are also available.
 
Proceeds also benefit the continuation of the Yellowjacket Athletics branding initiative as well as the creation of historical recognition in the Marcovich Wellness Center. This year, a portion of the proceeds will go toward upgrading the athletics weight room.
