The University of Wisconsin-Superior and Yellowjacket Athletics are proud to announce plans for a new baseball and softball complex. This state-of-the-art development will serve as the new on-campus home for the Yellowjacket baseball and softball teams, and will create a vibrant hub for UW-Superior's intercollegiate athletics programs, academic courses, and the greater Superior community. 

Located adjacent to Wessman Arena along the 28th Street corridor in Superior, our new complex will feature:
  • NCAA-sized baseball and softball fields with premier artificial turf playing surfaces
  • Dugouts, bullpens, and batting cages
  • Modern spectator seating
  • Field lighting for extended accessibility
  • Locker rooms and team spaces
Construction Cost: $14.97 million
Targeted Completion: 2027-28 academic year 

Donor Recognition Opportunities
In addition to the State of Wisconsin's 2025-27 Capital Budget, donor recognition opportunities are available. This fundraising initiative will support additional amenities and features that will further enhance the facility and the student-athlete experience at UW-Superior. All gifts at the bronze level or above will be recognized on the facility's donor wall. Pledges payable over five years are available for both gold and MVP level gifts.

Gold - $5,000
Silver - $1,000
Bronze - $500
